The Business
We are developing a range of light-weight electric city cars made from composite materials, optimised for sustainability whilst exceeding safety and mechanical performance of heavy, steel framed vehicles.
We will manufacture these vehicles in our own fully automated lean facilities utilising stateof- the-art automation of high-pressure resin transfer moulds and subsystem assembly enabled by our foundation partnership with Siemens and others.
We focus on premium design and build quality whilst delivering a modernised user experience, and we aim to deliver these electric vehicles to the mass market, ushering a new era for personal urban transport.
Outlook
Later this year, we will launch our vehicle platform. In 2018, we will focus on extensive evaluation prototyping, brand-building and production/supply chain planning, as well as cost modelling.
Due to our partnership with Siemens and KUKA Robotics amongst others, the fully automated factory is under development in PLM software, and first deliveries to Europe will be starting in early 2019, followed by Asia.
